Intent Signals

Create Intent Signals to understand visitor interest and behavior.

Updated over 2 months ago

Configure new and existing intent signal triggers from the Intent Signals page.

Intent signals are behaviors that indicate a prospect's interest and inform sales and marketing activities. Intent signals can help determine intent scores and predict a prospect’s buying stage.

Intent signals can be utilized for a number of use cases including:

  • Triggering real-time notifications to messaging platforms such as Slack for sales follow-up activities.

  • Configuring Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) Fit Scores.

  • Automating workflows through Sona Audiences and Destinations, or from you CRM.

Adding Intent Signals

  1. Choose from the pre-built signals listed under High Intent Page Views or Form Submissions.

  2. You can also click Create New at the bottom of each list.

  3. In the configuration screen, select one of the dropdown options to change the conditions for the intent signal, then enter a path in the URL field.

Click the + sign to add more conditions.

For this example, an intent signal will be created when a visitor goes to any pricing page.

  4. Type in a name for the intent signal to easily identify it in the list.

  5. Add a description.

  6. Click Delete if you want to remove the intent signal from the list.

  7. Click Save to accept the changes.
