HubSpot Connector
Updated over 2 months ago

The HubSpot connector page has additional configuration options that allow you to specify which HubSpot records and properties Sona can update. You can also configure the data mapping for new custom properties that will be synced to HubSpot's records.

  1. Click Companies or Contacts depending on which records you want to sync. The configuration options are similar for both. Please note: The Sona HubSpot integration performs two functions: creating and enriching company records, while enriching existing contact records (without modifying email addresses).

  2. Click Yes to automatically create new records in HubSpot for accounts that Sona is able to de-anonymize.

  3. Add Filters if you only want to sync a specific set of visitor or account profiles to HubSpot.

  4. Select who will be identified as the owner of the records in HubSpot from the dropdown list.

  5. In HubSpot Default Fields, select which HubSpot fields will be updated with Sona data.

  6. In Additional Fields, select additional Sona attributes you want to add to your HubSpot records.

Before configuring the additional fields, you need to create new custom properties in HubSpot first to properly map the data when it is sent to HubSpot.

  7. Click +Add to create add new attributes to the list.

  8. Click Save to accept the changes, or Cancel to go back to the Connectors page.

After completing these steps your account will start to sync. The duration of the initial sync will depend on the volume of data accumulated in Sona, and it can take several hours to complete.
