To build the most comprehensive picture of the buyer’s journey and help you gain more insight, the Sona Platform combines a range of datasets from different sources. Setting up more data connectors for ingestion to the Sona Platform is an integral part of this objective.

Once your data connectors are set up, data synchronizations will occur on a regular schedule to make the integration with your workflow seamless.

Connector Setup

  1. If this is your first time connecting a platform, you will see a list of available platforms. Locate the platform that you'd like to integrate with Sona, then click Connect.

  2. If you've already connected a platform, click+ New Connector in the top left corner, then select a platform from the list.

  3. After clicking Connect, you will be redirected to either the platform’s authentication page or Sona’s configuration page. Enter your login and/or configuration details to allow Sona to connect to your account.

  4. You should now see a card with your account details for the platform that you just connected in the Connectors homepage.

  5. Repeat the steps for other platforms you wish to integrate. Once completed, you should see all connected platforms as cards on the Connectors homepage.

HubSpot Connector Setup

After connecting Sona to HubSpot, you can automatically transfer data collected by Sona about both companies and contacts directly into your CRM. This integration streamlines the workflow of sales and marketing teams by delivering enriched data about prospects, intent signals, and buying stages directly to HubSpot.

  • Click your account in the HubSpot card.

  • In the HubSpot Connector page, you can configure how visitor profiles and attributes collected by Sona are synchronized to HubSpot’s records at the Company and Contact level:

Company: If a company is identified and not in your CRM, you can automatically have a new company created in HubSpot. If you auto-create companies in HubSpot, you can additionally configure the following:

  • Owner: This is the person in HubSpot who will be labeled as the owner of the account record.

  • Default HubSpot fields: If Sona has more recent data, you can specify whether that data overwrites an existing HubSpot field.

  • Additional Custom Fields: You can map additional custom fields from Sona to HubSpot.

Contact: If a new contact is identified, you can automatically have a new contact created in HubSpot.

  • Owner: This is the person in HubSpot who will be labeled as the owner of the contact record.

  • Default HubSpot fields: If Sona has more recent data, you can specify whether that data overwrites an existing HubSpot field.

  • Additional Custom Fields: You can map additional custom fields from Sona to HubSpot.
