The List feature allows you to manually build datasets containing collections of people from different accounts that you can target for follow-up outreach.
People lists are particularly useful for prospecting new leads at accounts that have shown interest in your site or brand. You can create lists to easily target different groups of people with tailored campaigns, then push the data to other platforms through Destinations.
Sona enriches identified accounts by finding key people and employees associated with the company that match your configured Persona, and lists them in the People page. The contacts found in the People section haven't necessarily visited your website yet, but at least one of your tracked visitors matched with the account.
Lists, along with Audiences, are available options when choosing an Origin Source for a destination.
Lists are static groups that do not change unless contacts are manually added. On the other hand, Audiences are dynamic groups that get automatically updated whenever new profiles match the specified filter criteria. This is an important distinction to remember, especially if you plan on syncing the dataset to other platforms with Destinations.
